Kites flying in the air

If you are thinking of coming to the North Coast and flying with us at Edgewater Park in Cleveland or at any of our events, you should look to the weather. Since we live next to that large weather machine called Lake Erie, the saying “If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes and it will change.” is not a joke. In this vein, here are some of the weather links to find out what is going on.

Let’s start with the boss of them all, the National Weather Service at http://www.nws.noaa.gov.

If you have the time to wade thru tons of data, don’t let us stop you. It’s here. or go to the page for the National Weather Service in Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport.

Next is the Weather Channel web page for Cleveland Ohio. This page is for the weather at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

Note that we list Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport and Cleveland Hopkins Airport, which is 10 miles inland from the lake. Believe it or not the weather at the lakefront can be radically different from the Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

(Remember we are not supposed to fly near an airport).
