Bimonthly OSD kitefly
Hey Central Ohio kite flyers, we need a time and a place we can expect to find someone else holding kite string(s) and having a good time with the wind. So here it goes:
Mark your calendar for every 2nd Sunday, and 4th Saturday of the month, 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Ohio School for the Deaf for every month you can brave the elements.   
Come by for as little or long as you care to, but come by and have a good time.  Bring the whole kite bag, and perhaps a packed lunch.  Share tips, festival information, give someone a kite, or teach someone how to fly a quad line or fighter.  Heck, take everyone out to dinner!  Let’s make an effort, and see if we don’t get something in return.
OSD
The Ohio School for the deaf is located on the Northwest corner of I-71 and Morse road. To get in, you must sign in and get a pass. Once on school grounds, practice basic kite safety (common sense; all of us need to be safety cops) and follow the school’s procedures.
If there happens to be an event going on at the OSD on the 2nd Sunday or 4th Saturday of the month, we will need to play it by ear. They occasionally play soccer near the track, and parking spaces become hard to find for an hour or two. This should not be often because most students are away over the weekend.  If you have never been to the OSD, and want to know more about it, they have a great website:

From North:
Take I-71 South.
Take the Morse Road exit, exit number 116, towards Sinclair Road.
Turn Left onto Sinclair Road.
Turn Right onto Morse Road.
Pass the traffic light, then turn Right onto Ohio School for the Deaf road.

From South:
Take I-71 North.
Take the Morse Road exit, exit number 116.
Turn Left onto Morse Road.
Pass two traffic lights, then turn Right onto Ohio School for the Deaf.

From East:
Take I-70 West.
Take the I-71 North exit, number 101A, Towards Cleveland.
Merge onto I-71 North.
Take the Morse Road exit, exit number 116.
Turn Left onto Morse Road.
Pass two traffic lights, then turn Right onto Ohio School for the Deaf.

Take I-70 East.
Take the I-71 North exit, exit number 101A, on the left towards Cleveland.
Merge onto I-71 North.
Take the Morse Road exit, exit number 116.
Turn Left onto Morse Road.
Pass two traffic lights, then turn Right onto Ohio School for the Deaf.
